An earthquake of a magnitude of 7.0 hit the city of Port-au-Prince in the country of Haiti. Haiti located in the caribbian near Cuba. The death toll is estimated to be the thousands and among them are the Roman Catholic archbishop of Port-au-Prince also the head of the UN peacekeeping mission was missing. The United States and other nations said that they would start sending aid workers and rescue teams. Canada is sending some teams and 5 million dollars.
