New web 2.0 programs

We tried to new 2.0 programs, one is sumo Paint which is a paint like program crossed with photoshop like tools. the second one is iNudge an online music making programs using a grid and different sounds. both these can also be found on the ict 11-12 wikipage along with other 2.0 ptograms.

ICT Update

In our ICT class we are now finishing up with our pascal work and now moving on to Visual Basic. Also an update on my blog it has 50 Visits from Canada and the USA and 38 being unique visits.

OLPC XO Laptop

Last year two students in this course held a fund raiser to buy two XO laptops. These laptops have been designed for use of students in third world countries. They are given to students to take home where in some cases they might be the only source of light. The class kept one laptop amd the other was donated to the OLPC program.

The XO contains many innovative features such as daylight visible screen, a flash drive, mesh networking, and a large collection of pre-installed software.

our Class just participated in an online poll using our cell phones to give vote by text message. this medium could be used positivly in classrooms if the teacher used it proporly. the website used was www.polleverywhere.com

Update

I just used Wolfram Alpha to convert numbers to binary code.
My binary code number is 00110.
Also i signed up for google analytics and added its tracking code to my blog site.
